We move fast, value autonomy and ownership, and we are always looking for new ideas.</p> <h2>The Role</h2> <p>As the Commercial Strategy Associate, you will assist in driving large cross-functional strategic projects. You will do this through analysis of operational efficiency, unlocking growth through data backed solutions. You will be a key part of the Belgium commercial team. This is the ideal role for someone looking to take their analytical skills into execution, process-building and iteration to get to commercial excellence. It is also a rare opportunity to gain a valuable understanding of all the moving parts within a successful, high-growth company. You will work in our main office in Brussels. You can work 2 days a week remotely.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Become a subject-matter expert on Deliveroo operations, especially restaurant operations</li> <li>Data analyses and deep-dives to support the commercial strategy and sales teams' performance</li> <li>Creation, roll out & ownership of processes and tools to improve internal efficiency</li> <li>Being the link between HQ and the local team, which involves strong exposure on new projects initiation and new product developments</li> <li>Collaborate with other markets to share knowledge and best practices Influence commercial stakeholders and partners to provide best-in-class operations</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Experience in data analysis, business insights, business intelligence or a similar role</li> <li>An interest in the food and/or retail industry is a plus</li> <li>An ability to understand incrementally and cause/effect</li> <li>You have a strong business acumen and an ability to prioritise your projects</li> <li>Good execution skills - as you will put your analysis into execution</li> <li>You are capable of client-facing interactions to support our commercial team during meetings</li> <li>Organised - always deliver the right work at the right time You enjoy collaborating with teams of wildly different skills</li> <li>Inquisitive - infectiously curious and happy to question the status-quo</li> <li>Resilience and an ability to adapt to an ever evolving market and product</li> <li>You have a good command of Dutch or French.</li> <li>You have a good knowledge of the second national language and are fluent in English</li> </ul> <h2>Benefits</h2> <p>Become an important member of a fast-growing, exciting start up changing the food delivery landscape Work with people who love what they do every day A market-based salary</p> <p>Benefits include: a MacBook, fee for telephone costs, meal vouchers Fee for sport activities Lots of delicious food!
